Well I did it. Eight glorious miles. Thanks for all the messages of support throughout the day.

We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca. We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised. But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all. We hope you enjoy the blog. I like the way your trail looks like a kite that had a little trouble getting off the ground at first. Glad you didn’t give up. π

Dude, In my days of running when I was younger and more fit I use to run a 12-minute mile. Now I walk and enjoy the view along the way. Congratulations on your run today. Awesome display of commitment. You have encouraged me to rise tomorrow and take one of those walks while it is still warm enough outside to enjoy.

A day late but with you in spirit for an 8 mile run. Actually I believe I was several paces behind you. Still enjoyed the run.
