We passed 7500 followers yesterday. Quite the achievement for the little blog that Fionnuala encouraged me to start almost eighteen months ago. Since then, there have been almost daily posts about life, the universe and everything. I’m not quite sure why, but people continue to read and post encouraging comments. It has been both an enlightening and humbling experience which has restored my belief in the online human community.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you all.

We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca.
We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised.
But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all.
We hope you enjoy the blog.

Oh gosh! That is AMAZING! Congratulations. I have taken a couple of years to get even 240 or so! I didnโt know how THAT happened either, but I am glad it did. Thank YOU for following my Blig. I donโt always comment on yours, but I always read it. Keep it going!

To answer your question, I think it’s at least partially because you are so relatable. (Spell check is telling me that’s not a word, but I think you know what I mean.) Even your title is one that makes people curious. We all feel sometimes as if our faith is “fractured,” and we can tell you aren’t going to give us some holier-than-thou platitudes. (Thank you!)

Congratulations. Really. I would like to have as many readers as you. ๐ I don’t do anything special, but I am faithful. I keep posting my weekly sermons from our little UCC church in the Chicago suburbs at https://pastorpreacherprayer.wordpress.com/ and my audience has grown to over 1200. (How did that happen?) God’s blessings as you continue to be faithful, too.

Congratulations on your blog’s success and growing followers! I just looked at your about page and saw that you live in Ireland. I hear it’s quite beautiful in the countryside, and I’d love to see it one day.
I just wanted to stop by and thank you for visiting my own blog. ๐
