I’d Like To Thank My Family, My Agent….

Oh hang on I don’t have an agent. Well not yet anyway, but I’m working on that one. Yesterday, Fractured Faith passed 8000 followers, a milestone that has been looming on the horizon for some weeks now. As I have written about in previous posts, there are mixed feelings about this achievement. I won’t go over those again. Let’s just say I’m happy, but a little nervous.

I worked out yesterday if everyone bought a copy of the book when/if it’s published, I could give up my job, or at least take a career break to work on the second book. It’s a pipe dream, I know, but a nice thought all the same. The blog is the platform for the book so I’m committed to maintaining the former, in order to give the latter a chance at life. It’s swings and roundabouts, the chicken and the egg, yadda yadda.

That aside, I’d like to thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. At least once a day, I receive a comment that makes it all worthwhile. A comment that dispels the inner demons of doubt and disbelief. Here’s to the next thousand, I think. Now, unfortunately, I’m off to the day job. Needs must and all that. I’ll see you all on the other side. Thank you again, my fellow bloggers.

We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca. We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised. But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all. We hope you enjoy the blog.

  1. Congrats man that is an awesome feat. On a different note I can’t recall the exact premise of your book but something about a group of teens and their small town I could be wrong though forgive me I am going based of a different post you made a little bit ago. Sounded interesting I am super paraphrasing it of course though. Hope to see it bare fruit soon man.

  4. You have the courage and the faith to let your light so shine and that is rare in these days when most people are more concerned about themselves than they are about others. Jesus is never about self! Jesus is always about Glorifying His Father and saving souls. I am so glad that you are one of the workers in the Harvest that the Scriptures tell us more are need of. God bless you and keep up the great work of testimony for Jesus.

    1. Hi Jo. There’s no magic solution, just hard work. I try to post every day, and maintain a quality, positive message. I’m also very honest and regularly bare my soul which people seem to like. I engage with other bloggers and comment/like their work where I can. Plus, a huge slice of luck. Don’t get up. You will get there 😊

      1. Thanks, that’s really helpful. I have no problem baring my soul, lol. Just getting time for it everyday with 5 kids may be a little harder, but I’m determined. Enjoying your blog by the way.
