Hi everyone we need your assistance please. We’ve received an email from one of our followers that has stopped receiving our blog posts in his Reader is this affecting anybody else?
WordPress has said it’s nothing to do with them, I’ve checked the technical side on our end, that my husband runs away from, and don’t notice anything.
Alternatively if anyone can offer up some advise for any of our followers affected then please do so.

We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca.
We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised.
But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all.
We hope you enjoy the blog.

This post appeared in my notifications but not in reader. Other blogs I follow appear in both whilst some others appear only in reader. I notice that when I follow someone new, I get emails about their posts by default until I manually cancel that setting, despite having a generic setting to receive no emails from any blog. As WordPress is the oldest of the blog sites, I would guess that its clunky nature stems from it being based on an outdated foundation, rather like a pimped-car that keeps adding new bits rather than scrap it and start again.

This is the same problem I said to you about a while ago. I’d love to see you back in my reader. Google the problem, there will be an answer somewhere 🙂

Nothing’s changed for me. I wonder if it’s like Facebook where you have to click on the reader articles to keep seeing them? Mind you, I just use the reader, but am still getting everything. Good luck figuring it out!

Hi. Thanks for the Heads-up. Seems Ok Here. Reading this no probs. Possibly a Browser or Cookie Update? On the Our World Legends Site… there are several “addresses” per se… if these Cookies for example differ in expiry.?. We oft have to “Clear The Cache” and reset them all. We use a Laptop…
Not sure if Issue similar.
Hope You get it sorted soon. Please let us know… for Future ref. if the Dilemma solved. Take Care. Till next…

I have to confess I don’t look into Discover often. I got your post through my email but you haven’t shown up on Discover. I had a real problem yesterday finding another blog that I wanted to comment on ut lost track of – so you’re not the only one. I can’t find any reasons (in my settings) why some blogs aren’t showing up on Discover, but if I do, I’ll let you know.

Thank you Cathy. I’m sure it’s just a glitch.

I have no troubles with your emails flooding in. 🙂 It’s two things that come to mind. For one, whoever doesn’t receive your post notifications anymore though they’re 100% certain they haven’t changed a thing, these mails might be caught by the spam guard of their mail provider. At the frequency Stephen writes, you’ll never know what the spam guard considers spam. Joking… I love the frequency. :-)) If that’s the case, look around in your email settings. You may mark those mails as non-spam, so they won’t be considered that in the future. There’s usually a help section that explains how to deal with that.
Also one might have accidentally unsubscribed from mails for your post. In each mail there’s an unsubscribe link at the bottom. If you want to undo it, go to workpress.com and login. At the top left go to Reader (if you’re not there automatically). Underneath there’s the Manage link next to Followed Sites. Click that and check out the settings for A Fractured Faith blog. You might have accidentally switched off mail delivery.
That’s all I can offer.

I still get your blog posts in my email but there are dozens of other WordPress blogs that I don’t get. I have to check them regularly. Sometimes WordPress has reset my settings (or something has reset them) or they’re not going through. It’s very annoying to say the least.
I know that I am not the one “accidentally” switching off mail delivery, that’s for sure. I’ve been on WordPress for years now & I know how it works. Honestly, I’m beginning to get a little tired of WordPress … the constant changes to how we get to blog & edits our blogs, the ads appearing everywhere, etc. But that’s another issue.

I don’t get ads but I do all my blogging on my phone so maybe that’s why.

I wonder how often this happens. I know there are some of your posts that never turned up in my Reader feed, as well as other blogger’s posts. Sometimes I have to go to the actual blog site to check there aren’t posts I missed.

Turned off emails and not get notifications in the app either on my phone or he app on my computer. Someone else said the number of emails she gets were reduced. I wonder if WordPress reset notifications?

I think sometimes I’ve missed seeing your blog in Reader, so usually, I find another post to check and see what I missed. I really do not know why. But for several months WordPress goes back and forth saying I’m following you and then that I’m not, but even when it says I am not following you…I see posts in Reader. I think they have issues sometimes.

I hadn’t gotten my posts for a couple of days, so I searched my spam. I found a couple there. Not sure why that happened but I’m getting caught up on my reading now!

I look for this blog post every time I have a few minutes to spare and noticed it was conspicuously absent. However, I have been pretty busy this past week or so and perhaps did not scroll down far enough. Fractured faith is one of the blogs I follow fairly faithfully and I did miss it. Hope it all gets ironed out quickly.

I’ve seem to not see a lot of who I follow their blogs unless they happen to see mine … yes if they happen to see mine I think I’m not seen as well . I only saw yours because you like a post of mine. And I’ve always enjoyed your posts but hadn’t seen them.
