Can You See This?

I posted a blog earlier today but due to unknown technical reasons, it hasn’t appeared on a lot of timelines. Either that or I didn’t get the memo about the universal boycott of FracturedFaithBlog with immediate effect. The former is the obvious reason but my OCD addled brain latches onto the latter. It whispers ‘they all hate you and want nothing more to do with you or your stupid blog.

So, help me out. Can you see this blog post?

We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca. We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised. But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all. We hope you enjoy the blog.

  1. Hey Stephen, yes, I can see it in the Reader. That has happened to me twice in 1 week. It is a glitch with the WP system. When we publish our post, the system has to pull it from the RSS feed in order to add it to the Reader. If it happens, just contact WP support and they will refresh it on their end, so it shows up. It’s okay, it’s just the glitch and easy for them to fix it. Just happened to me yesterday and they had it fixed in no time. God bless!

  2. I didn’t see an earlier one, and I’m wondering if the same thing happened to me. I normally get about 40 hits every morning by noon and, not to sound greedy or anything, found it strange that all of a sudden I had 3.

  3. I didn’t get the earlier one but, I can see this post. Don’t ever give up on something The Father has led you to do. I like your Bio. I, for one, am encouraged that you are working on this blog as a couple. I am in a courtship and your blog gives me courage. I am blogging The Psalms by The Spirit of God (not going in order) and I am almost done with all 150 Psalms.
I pray that you are blessed with Alicia J’s Place as I am blessed with “Fractured Faith.”
Many blessed to you and your family.

  4. I have received both as well. Sometimes it takes a while for some reason. I’ve noticed the notification email alerts me but the post itself is slower to arrive. A glitch in WP system I’m thinking. My stats often don’t match my email alerts for likes either but they catch up eventually. You are still loved by the system ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I received the email about this post. When I tried to click the comment button there, it said my network blocked your site, but I was able to see and open your post on my WordPress reader though.

  6. Yes I see your post.

If it’s WordPress, sometimes WordPress and probably other blog platforms get hungry and eat posts. My very first WordPress post got ate and I had it auto-saved, but WordPress ate the auto-save too.

For a while, I was copy/pasting before posting in case it happened again. It became more a pain than it was worth so I no longer do it It’s rare, but I still lose an occasional blog post.

  7. Yep i can see it but something very strange happened to me today; i had 2 likes for my blog but zero visitors or views.

I suspect that there are some wordpress gremlins about or the whole world took a internet holiday!

Hope you like my new post by the way.

  8. I see it and appreciate it. I keep receiving emails about general site upgrades, so I’m going to resolve to take things less personally. I understand your anxiety!

  9. I can see it. Tell that nasty little voice to take a hike. We all feel like that sometimes. I see you here. On Fb. LOL and emails. I have all my bases covered. But WordPress has been a little hinky lately. I have been finding blogs I follow unfollowed. So bizarre. I see you. ๐Ÿ™‚ (nothing creepy about that at all)
