I’m in the money!
Well, not really, but I received my first royalty payment for Book 1 this weekend. It won’t make me an overnight millionaire and I still have to go to the day job tomorrow, but that made it none the less exciting. I’m getting paid….to write. I must admit I’ve struggled a little to process this fact. Mind well and truly blown. I feel like a proper, grown up author, at long last. And it’s thank to you bunch.
Thank you so much for supporting the book. The sales and, more importantly, feedback have been incredible and kept me going when the well has threatened to run dry and the hard yards still needed covered. I’d frame that check! When I was a young journalist, I got paid to “string” or write for The New York Times a few times. I absolutely Xeroxed the check and saved it. Congratulations to you.
