I have to agree with you about your take on faith also and I admit that I have had my faith shattered on ore than 1 occasion but as you have said a fractured faith is better than having no faith at all.

I love Ireland! I am American and of Irish heritage. I have visited your country twice. So beautiful! And the people are wonderful!!! My family name is Laughlin, possibly shortened from O’Laughlin. I think we are from County Cork if I remember correctly. Cheers! 😀

We Americans are typically not very in tune with our family history. I’m guilty! I have a half brother who is the historian. Will have to check with him lol. Btw, love the name Fionnuala. Never heard it.
