I know a lot of you have read and enjoyed the book. It would been a lot to me, if you haven’t already, if you could post a review on Amazon. It takes 5 minutes, it’s free, and it would be the perfect Christmas present for a first time author seeking to fulfil his dream of escaping the rat race and pursuing a writing career. Amazon reviews really boost the online visibility of the book. Thank you.

We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca. We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised. But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all. We hope you enjoy the blog. I just started reading your book today…finally! I will definitely leave a review on Amazon and will most likely do a post about it too.😊 God bless!

Thank you Ryan & never worry. I have yours too on my list. I’ll get there over Christmas break 🙂

Look, if you want reviews, you need to send copies to readers who will provide them. This is an investment in marketing, but reviews by people who haven’t read the book are transparent to Amazon, Google and Barnes, and destroy the credibility of your reviews — besides breaking the law in some countries. You don’t want that.

I think you misunderstand me. I’m asking for reviews from people who have read the book.

It was pretty clear to me. I mean, the post starts by addressing people who have read and enjoyed the book.
Btw, I can’t find your book on goodreads. I thought I’d mention that. I always want to support other indie writers, but my TBR list is huge and I wanted to add it to my read-it-eventually pile. The problem is, the book doesn’t come up when I search on goodreads.

Correction: It does come up when I search ‘kirkwood scott chronicles’ but if the book keeps getting referred to as ‘Skelley’s Square’ people are gonna think that’s the title (like I did). Maybe it would be helpful to add a goodreads link when you’re promoting? Just a thought.

Thank you for adding it to your list. Yes, I thought my post was very clear. Maybe the gentleman didn’t read it properly.

I’m clearly very tired because that guy’s chiding of you was the funniest thing I read all day. But, I’d be remiss if I didn’t remind you speeding in your car with your book in the passenger seat is illegal, as is murdering people by beating them to death with your book.

You can also cut and paste snippits of the comments you get from reviewers.

I have only begun to read your book but was struck by its quality and felt a review based on first impressions would be appropriate for now. Please view it on Amazon. Happy Christmas to your family.
