Good Afternoon fellow bloggers from Northern Ireland. Here’s the cover art for my new book, ‘The Kirkwood Scott Chronicles: A New Jerusalem,’ which is being released this October by Potter’s Grove Press. It’s the sequel to ‘Skelly’s Square’ and I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Feel free to comment below and thank you to those of you who continue to support my writing dream.
We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca.
We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised.
But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all.
We hope you enjoy the blog.

I like the cover, but I most of all like the Scriptural overtones as in Revelation 21:2, “And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.” I think you faith is still relevant to you on many levels. But, I am not a psychologist, and my doctorate is in Sociology. I just couldn’t help making the connections. So very excited for you.
I think it looks fabulous – suitably mysterious and a great use of the lighting or colours too. There’s also added intrigue (to me anyway) by the inclusion of the 2 characters on the lower left. 👍👍
Thank you for sharing. The cover grabs my attention straight away, but leaves enough mystery that I felt compelled to read the back cover blurb. I look forward to reading both books later this year.

I’m not from Northern Ireland, but I find the art very evocative. If I knew nothing about you or the previous book, it would draw me in.
