It’s Irish Book Week

Did you know I’m Irish? And I write books? Three to be precise, and I’m working on the fourth. This week is Irish Book Week so I’m asking a big favour. Many of you already do/have but if you’re a reader and looking up try out a new author, then please have a look at my supernatural fantasy series, ‘The Kirkwood Scott Chronicles,’ set primarily in modern day Belfast. As I said there are three to choose from – ‘Skelly’s Square’, it’s sequel ‘A New Jerusalem’, and the novella that links the two, ‘Bomb Girl.’

All three are currently available on your local Amazon site. Enter the world of perpetual loser, Kirkwood Scott, as he battles crippling OCD while simultaneously trying to save the world from an ancient evil lurking on the back streets of Belfast. Aided by his misfit friends, Meredith Starc and Harley Davidson, they are called upon to battle Colonel Augustus Skelly and his army of Napoleonic ghost soldiers, while battling the inner demons of mental illness, addiction and physical disability.

Have a look. Let me know what you think. Thank you. And happy Irish Book Week!

We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca. We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised. But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all. We hope you enjoy the blog.

  1. I absolutely adore your blog-and words of wisdom. I love the name fractured faith by the way-it resonates with me. I also love that you are from Ireland. I hope to visit one day. Most of my favorite authors are from Ireland, so it’s no surprise I’d love your blog!
