Can I Tempt You?

Good Morning from Northern Ireland. Did you know that I write books as well as blog? Hmmm…you did because I never shut up about it? Er, okay then, I’ll stop, but not before I ask one favour from those of you who have invested your time in ‘The Kirkwood Scott Chronicles.’ If you haven’t already, and thank you to those who have, then please consider leaving an Amazon and/or Goodreads review.

It only has to be a line or two, although feel free to write ‘War & Peace’ if you so desire. Reviews matter so much as they help promote the work of lesser known authors and increase the visibility of their titles. It’s all to do with algorithms or something far too complicated for my tiny brain but you get my drift. They mean the world to me plus feedback is the only way I can improve my craft and become a better writer.

Even better, if you haven’t dipped a toe in the Kirkwood Scott universe then why not give the books a go. It’s a supernatural fantasy series set predominantly in modern day Northern Ireland where three young misfits fight to save the world from an ancient evil while battling their own internal demons at the same time – mental illness, addiction, physical disability, homelessness. But don’t worry, there are also lashings of dark Northern Irish humour throughout.

There are three books in the series to date and I’m currently writing the fourth – ‘Skelly’s Square,’ ‘A New Jerusalem, and ‘Bomb Girl,’ a novella which links the aforementioned full length novels. All three are currently available via your local Amazon site and ‘Skelly’s Square, is currently free to read for Kindle Unlimited subscribers. You can also read the reviews posted to date, which have been universally positive.

Can I tempt you to enter the ‘Kirkwood Scott’ universe?

We are Stephen and Fionnuala and this is our story. We live in Northern Ireland, have been married for 17 years and have three kids - Adam, Hannah and Rebecca. We hope that our story will inspire and encourage others. We have walked a rocky road yet here we are today, together and stronger than ever. We are far from perfect and our faith has been battered and bruised. But an untested faith is a pointless faith. Just as a fractured faith is better than none at all. We hope you enjoy the blog.
